Digital sub channels have been a boon to many commercial TV stations. The extra bandwidth that broadcast stations now have available has not only given local commercial broadcasters increased variety, but it has also led to the launch of new networks that are running first and second-run content such as America One/One World Sports which offers a variety of sports programming and syndicated shows. But, the stations that may be best poised to take advantage of the change may be non-commercial TV stations.
